No idea about pigeons, but the magpies look like they are putting in a new nest... just wish they would land in the garden a bit longer, there are hardly any other birds round here now... :kill:

i have taken 4 magpies and a jay from my garden over the last week (air rifle out the kitchen window) and this morning the 1st thing i saw was a pair of them sitting on my back fence. it seems the numbers just dont go down, i dont want to do an owl decoy out there because my little girl likes looking at the songbirds but i amazed at how many are around now - they must pretty much outnumber everything but pigeons!

I had an owl decoy out in the back garden... Didn't scare off the little birds for some reason, but the jackdaws hated it!
