I'll have to try that should I ever have a hanging friend such as SidebySide. Still there's no guarantee that my aim will split the rope.

I've fired 38 Special pistol lead bullets at a 1960 something Chevrolet station wagon. The bullet just left lead smears on the windows. The wind shield was the hardest to penetrate. The 38 lead loads merely left a minor dent in the steel body of the car. The moral of the story was use a 30 caliber or better rifle or shotgun slugs for a shoot out with cars. We found that they worked the best. We did this on a police range and it was an eye opener for the cops.
