Wincester 1300 firing pin replacement.

Postby Jubbles » Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:23 am

Hi all

Recently Winchester 1300 firing pin had a woopsie resultin in part of it breaking off (the rear most section). It still shoots (I only discovered after a 100+ shells had been fired that the rattling noise in the gun was the broken bit bouncing around).

Can anyone suggest a UK based supplier to get a new one? Iv checked Brownells and they dont have it.

Tried them, tried brownells, tried a couple other sites.

No idea where I can get the firing pin from unless I order one from the USA and have it delivered to my hotel while I am there or ask a friend to post it internationally.

Pain in the arse to do either of those really. Can't believe a firing pin could cause so much trouble.

Google winchester 1300 firing pin. Its not a simple shape. The cost of getting one machined would be insane.

It's not in the UK. It's in the US for only $19 or so. Bite the bullet and buy from these folks. You can order it on line, "easy peasy".
