I'm sorry, I know nothing of Kolar shotguns. They certainly are expensive. I can ask at the local gunsmith's. He's been in business for 40 years and has probably tripped over a few of them.

I spoke the gunsmith, actually I visited his shop for the better part of the afternoon. I didn't buy anything other than small pistol primers as it seems that everybody picked over his gun selection this winter due to cabin fever.

He was familiar with Kolar shotguns as higher end competition shotguns. They are really not his cup of tea as he's more into field guns. He preferred the Connecticut Shotgun Company guns for the type of shooting that he does. http://connecticutshotgun.com/m21ou/M21ou.html

If you want a good competition gun the Kolar shotgun would be a good choice and worth the money. Shotguns are tough, with some of them you need to sell your first born to afford a down payment. I settled for a 1924 version of a Specialty Grade LC Smith side lock in 12 gauge with 2 and 1/2 inch chambers. That was their "intro" gun into their high end market guns. I'm happy with it. Other than that I shoot cylinder bored my black Benelli slug gun. I have a older Francotte side by side with 2 1/2 chambers and Damascus barrels that everybody tell me is unsafe to shoot. I do shoot it. Its a pretty shotgun but the LC Smith is more durable.

Have looked at a few L C Smith shotguns and very nearly bought one , they do look and feel like a hard working gun , I do believe if one came up at the right price I would be more than tempted
