Afternoon gents
I was wondering if one of you knowledgable gentlemen could answer a wee question for me?
I have a single barrel 12g shotgun and I have acquired a .410 reducer (converts a 12g chamber to the dimensions of a .410 chamber to fire .410 carts).
I have acquired some 3" .410 carts from a very nice man.
The 12g chamber length is 2 3/4", the chamber length on the .410 reducer is 2 1/2".
Could I safely shoot the 3" .410 carts in the reducer in the 12g single?
Normally I wouldnt ask knowing that chamber length (and pressures) need to match the capability of the gun but these .410's would be shot through the reducer in a 12g chamber that has much higher pressure resistance than an everyday .410.
Thanks in advance
