I'm trying to hand prime some 338 LM . I've got the number 25 shell holder but the cases are marginally too wide to fit into the primer. The cases are about .585 and the jaws of the primer tool are about .525. My question is can I just grind off 3 hundredths of an inch on either side of the jaws so that it will accept these cases, there looks to be plenty of spare metal to still enclose and hold the shell holders.
