PPK

Postby Gary B » Sat Apr 10, 2021 9:07 pm

Ex military and just got my long time wanted pistol.
My Dad brought back a 1911 and a 32 PPK at the end of ww2.
That little PPK just fit this 5 year old's hand.
Thought I'd inherit it some day but Dad sold it.

God I love this little gun (380) and it's my occasional carry, (shoulder holster)
I don't carry all the time as I drink a bit.

Happy I found you folks.

Hi Gary, welcome to the Forum. This is UK based forum and unfortunately in the UK handguns are highly restricted to a few fortunate individuals. I live in the US so that I can buy whatever handgun I care to. It's too bad about the WWII PPK. I'm sure that your dad would have pass it on to you if he knew you had such an interest. I would have. I've had a Nazi PPK in 32 ACP. My daughters had no interested in it. I sold it with a fair number of other guns at auction. I'll never do that again. I've since acquired a French manufactured Manurhin PPKS in 32 ACP. That's fairly rare as most of the were imported as 380ACP and strangely enough I inherited it from a life long friend who recently passed away. I love shooting a 32. I auctioned of my hammerless Colt 1903's in 32ACP. They were great to shoot. I'll probably buy another in the future. I'm licensed to carry in two states but I generally don't.
The faster I go, the older I get.
