best and worst shots

OK, without sounding like completely irresponsible twats........................

Fox at 40 yards in daylight  Panic set it as it was running full pelt towards me so I shouted to stop it, lost my breath and....... missed.

Crow at 410 Metres (lasered) in a tree. I was shooting down into it and backstop was clear at the time.

Mine has to be a fox a couple of weekends spotted a fox about 350yds away from me, got myself in a good position and watched it for a while then it stopped to lick its balls, pinged it again with my range finders 310yds., gave it 7 inches and squeezed the trigger.
Dropped like a sack of tatties not even a twitch, not bad for a 17REM with a 17gr vmax.
Worst has to be a rabbit at about 10yds 2 missed shots and it’s still looking at me then it hops off.

Best.....magpie on the ground at 165yds :DD
Another one I'm pleased with.......a one two, magpie and a crow, the crow was chasing the magpie off and I dropped them both with my trusty old side by side. :DD
Worst....crow on the ground at 60yds......missed it
I like to think the older I get the wiser I become, but I'm not so sure.

Hmm.....worst was witnessed by the two founding members of this board. Don't think I'll hear the end of it until I'm 6 feet under...and then Robbie will probably pay the wife to have it added to my headstone! :DD

Best was a 200+ crow with the HMR the week I got it on a shoot where I swear the buggers knew we all had .22LR's and stayed out of range of even the syndicate's best shots. Have had quite a few rabbits and crows in the 200-300 range with the .223 (As well as a fair few misses), but none were as satisying as that damn crow.
