You filthy animals

Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:30 pm

Now that I've got your attention!

I've not posted here for a number of years, perhaps 8 years or so :hmm: and I notice I still have a 'God' button
So how are y'all doing?

All the best

Phil

Still here and getting out as often as the knackered knees will take (that's 4 k's used in 4words) still getting onto plenty of roe and foxes, have a read at my adventures (called "elusive roebuck" and "it's doetime" )I'll give you a call as I still have your number if that's ok with you, it would be good to keep in touch and swmbo is wanting to visit Scotland once we are allowed to. Would be nice to actually meet up and have a dram or ten :beers:

I'm still here. As long as SidebySide is sticking around I'm in. He be lost without us. I sold a bunch of guns while bad as I down sized a bit. I still buying and shooting all kinds of cool stuff. I have year of age over SidebySide but I haven't slowed down much. I'm still fully employed at 71 and still playing with hazardous chemicals. I made a formal announcement the I intend to fully retire next April when I turn 72. The company asked if I would consult afterward.

My latest purchase in a non firing Browning M1919A6 machine gun. The' barrel's blocked with welds and the action isn't fully operable but it made with lots of the original parts and looks like the real thing, I haven't bother to tell my wife about my new acquisition although she would happy that is can't use 30-06 rounds. Other than that life goes on.

It's good hearing from you Phil. Are you still working the oil rigs?

Still here as well, I have not been doing as much shooting due to breaking my ankle in 3 places in January 2020,
2 operations resulting in 2 plates and 12 screws

Hi Pete,

Glad you’re reasonably well and I’m kinda the same with osteoarthritis. I’m getting out when I can on roe, red and the gingers.

My numbers ends 372 so it’s worth checking that the number you have for me is kinda similar.

Best wishes mate,

Phil

Not what I've got I'm afraid but it is about ten years ago since we spoke  my number hasn't changed if you still have it, if not we'll just have to find a way round it  either pm or I'll ask Robbie if he has it. I think the only way we will travel anywhere this year is by hiring a camper type van, so where we go is entirely at the whim of swmbo, but she loves Perth and the area around Robbie, I've had many roe from Robbie's sisters patch, while she sits and paints  I'm just glad some of the old gang are not only alive but still around.
