I've just got back home after shooting rifles for the first time, and I loved it!
I didn't actually shoot that much, just 15 rounds through a Winchester lever action and another 10 through a target rifle of some description, both .22lr. I also tried a member's PCP air rifle, and that was vastly different to the springer I'd used before. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, particularly the RCOs.
The main things I learned were about safety, what to do and what not to do. There was a lengthy safety briefing at the start that was actually really interesting, and that was where I handled real live ammo for the first time ever.
I'm 100% going back next week!
